Maverick RV Repair (Maverick RV Repair LLC, “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides mobile RV repair services to customers in Brevard County, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to information collected through our website, phone calls, text messages, and the services we provide on-site.

The short version. We collect what we need to schedule your job, fix your rig, get paid, and stay in touch about your repair. We do not sell your information, and we do not share your phone number or text-message content with third parties for marketing.

1. Who we are

Maverick RV Repair is owned and operated by Andrew Strick. We are a mobile-only service business. We do not maintain a public storefront. The mailing address for legal and privacy correspondence is:

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Your name, phone number, email address, and the service-location address where your RV is parked.
  • Information about your RV, including year, make, model, VIN, mileage, and photos you send or that we take on-site.
  • A description of the issue you need repaired and any prior service history you choose to share.
  • Payment information, when you pay for service. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

  • Standard web log data when you visit our website (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer).
  • Approximate location of your service appointment, used for routing and drive-time estimates.

Phone calls and text messages

  • When you call us, your call may be answered by an automated assistant that schedules appointments. These calls may be recorded and transcribed so we can confirm the details of your appointment and improve service quality. You will hear a disclosure at the start of any recorded call. If you do not consent to recording, you can ask to leave a voicemail or request a callback.
  • When you text us or share your number for service updates, we may send you SMS messages related to your appointment, your invoice, follow-up service recommendations, and replies to your inquiries. Standard message and data rates may apply. See SMS Terms for opt-in and opt-out details.

3. How we use your information

  • To schedule, perform, and complete repair services on your RV.
  • To send you appointment confirmations, status updates, invoices, and receipts.
  • To send you follow-up messages about deferred or recommended service.
  • To process payments and prevent fraud.
  • To submit warranty claims to manufacturers on your behalf, when applicable.
  • To improve our services, including the quality of our automated phone assistant.
  • To comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

4. Service providers we use

We use third-party service providers to operate our business. Each one receives only the information needed to perform its function. The categories of providers we currently use include:

  • Communications providers — for phone-number provisioning, voice call routing, SMS delivery, and the automated voice assistant that may answer inbound calls.
  • Cloud hosting and database providers — to securely store your customer record, vehicle history, and job notes.
  • AI and machine learning providers — to power the automated voice assistant and to generate service recommendations. We do not include personally identifying information in prompts beyond what is necessary to complete the task.
  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe receives your card details directly; we do not.
  • Google, Apple, and Microsoft — calendar synchronization, only if you have linked a calendar account.

Each provider has its own privacy policy and is contractually required to handle your information consistent with this policy. A current list of the specific service providers we use is available upon request at maverickrvrepair@gmail.com.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information for third-party marketing.

SMS-specific: No mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS message content, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with our SMS provider (Twilio) is limited to what is needed to deliver the messages you have requested.

We may share your information only:

  • With the service providers listed above, to operate the business.
  • With RV manufacturers (e.g., Dometic, Lippert), when submitting a warranty claim on your behalf, with your authorization.
  • When required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
  • In connection with a business sale or transfer, in which case the new owner inherits the obligations of this policy.

6. How long we keep information

  • Customer records, vehicle history, and job records: kept as long as you are a customer and for up to 7 years after your last service, for tax, warranty, and recordkeeping purposes.
  • Call recordings and transcripts: kept for 90 days, then archived in summary form only.
  • Payment records: kept as required by tax law (typically 7 years).
  • Website logs: kept for 90 days.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Access and correction. You can request a copy of the information we have about you, and correct anything inaccurate.
  • Deletion. You can request that we delete your information, subject to records we are legally required to retain.
  • Opt out of texts. Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help.
  • Opt out of marketing emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We will still send you transactional messages about your jobs.
  • Decline call recording. Tell the assistant you do not want to be recorded; you can leave a voicemail or request a callback.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, and access controls on our systems. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through our website or, where appropriate, by email or text.
